To mitigate such risks and deliver optimal services, Alibaba Cloud and Saise have forged a deep collaboration to launch the Saise Global Distributed Data Center PTP Solution. This initiative integrates Saise’s cutting-edge time synchronization technology with Alibaba Cloud’s robust global infrastructure, weaving key nodes around the world into a unified computing grid.

To date, the Saise Global Distributed Data Center PTP Solution has successfully empowered efficient collaboration across core businesses—including data exchange and computing scheduling—across 29 regions and 89 availability zones of Alibaba Cloud’s global footprint.

As the chief designer of the time synchronization solution for the Qingyang hub, a key node of China’s national "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project, and a long-term strategic partner of Alibaba Cloud, Saise has deployed its ultra-high-precision PTP time synchronization servers across Alibaba Cloud’s global data center nodes as part of this solution. These servers inject precise time signals, erasing spatial distances through accurate timing and enabling a transformative leap from geographical constraints of resources to seamless global collaboration.

The Saise SM2500 ultra-high-precision PTP time synchronization server, a core component of the solution, is a synchronization clock compliant with the IEEE 1588v2 protocol, boasting a synchronization accuracy of 30 nanoseconds. Its fully redundant design—covering power supply, clock, input, and output modules—ensures exceptional product safety and reliability, further fortifying the stability of the computing network.
