Recently, the clock system developed by Zhejiang Saisi has been officially put into operation at Sichuan Daying Middle School and Chongqing Yucai Middle School, delivering accurate and unified time synchronization signals for teachers, students and standardized examination rooms on campus.

In accordance with relevant regulations, clocks shall be equipped in examination rooms to provide time reference for candidates without disrupting the normal conduct of examinations. Meanwhile, with the growing number of network devices and servers on campus, long-term operation leads to increasing time deviation among devices. Such deviation exerts limited impact on single-chip microcomputers, yet it may trigger unexpected malfunctions in network-based applications. A unified and standardized clock system is of great significance to the digital management of schools, as well as the coordinated operation of various departments and examination rooms.

The standardized clock system mainly provides precise time synchronization signals for faculty, students and staff, and supplies standard time sources for computer systems and other weak current electronic systems. It realizes time synchronization across all systems and unifies the time service standard for the entire campus. Clocks and computer devices installed in classrooms, offices and corridors deliver standardized and consistent time signals, ensuring the efficient, unified and secure operation of the school’s overall systems.

Adopting the NTP time service principle, Zhejiang Saisi’s clock system calibrates the master clock with standard time sources by receiving GPS signals. The central master clock then transmits unified standard time signals to secondary clocks deployed across the campus. It monitors the operating status of all terminal clocks and regulates their operation, so as to guarantee consistent standard time display of the whole system and provide unified time information for all teachers and students.
