Saisi × Jidong Heidelberg (Fufeng) Cement Co., Ltd. | Saisi Provides Unified Timing for the Entire Plant of Jidong Heidelberg Fufeng Cement!

Recently, Saisi has implemented Beidou unified timing across the entire plant of Jidong Heidelberg (Fufeng) Cement Co., Ltd., delivering precise time synchronization services for its information systems and supporting production improvement and efficiency enhancement in the large-scale operation of its smart factory.

Jidong Heidelberg Cement Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture co-funded by Tangshan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of BBMG Corporation, and Heidelberg Cement Holding Hong Kong Limited.

In this project, Saisi constructed a clock system in the information room of the Fufeng facility, enabling unified Beidou timing for the whole plant and achieving time synchronization of all plant information systems. This empowers production increase and efficiency improvement in advanced process control scenarios for intelligent manufacturing.

The clock system is a critical component of a smart factory, serving as the synchronized pulse for all intelligent manufacturing operations. It provides unified and accurate time information for on-site personnel, stamps consistent timestamps on all device clocks and data within the local area network, and supplies standard time signals to various information equipment across the plant. These include computers, monitoring systems, attendance systems, as well as digital management systems for key production processes such as raw material mills, coal mills, cement mills, calcination (kilns, grate coolers), denitrification, and waste heat power generation.

The application of satellite timing and satellite-synchronized clock technologies in intelligent manufacturing systems effectively reduces the workload of maintenance and operation personnel. It provides a unified and standard time reference for all operating equipment within the plant, facilitating equipment operation and elevating the automation level of cement production and other intelligent manufacturing scenarios. The deployment of a plant-wide clock system is a key indicator for comprehensively improving operational service quality and reliability.

The construction of the Saisi clock system will provide robust synchronization support for the continuous digital transformation of the Fufeng facility. It will help the company achieve demonstration effects in production line technical renovation, energy conservation, consumption reduction, headcount reduction and efficiency improvement, build a model line for process and digital transformation of existing production lines under BBMG Jidong Cement, and advance the development of smart factories.
