Saisi × Nanjing Dongshan Primary School | Saisi Delivers Clock System Upgrade & Renovation for Dongshan Primary School

Recently, the Saisi clock system has been officially put into operation at Nanjing Dongshan Primary School, delivering precise synchronous time service for the campus’s internal systems. During an inspection visit, leaders from the Education Bureau highly recognized our clock system and commended the product’s appearance and overall quality, proposing to take this project as a demonstration case for comprehensive promotion.

Founded in 1981, Nanjing Dongshan Primary School was originally named Jiangning No.2 Primary School before adopting its current official name. The school now has 43 teaching classes, over 2,000 enrolled students and more than 100 faculty members.

To accommodate the expansion of educational premises, the school has launched campus renovation and expansion projects. As part of building a fully intelligent campus, the original campus clock system was comprehensively upgraded. The new system provides unified standard time across the entire campus, enabling all teachers and students to access consistent time references. It effectively avoids irregular issues caused by inconsistent time among different departments, such as delayed meetings and irregular daily schedules for students.

The high-precision clock system supplied by Zhejiang Saisi for Nanjing Dongshan Primary School forms a master-slave clock system in combination with digital secondary clocks. It is widely applicable to scenarios requiring unified time for operation and scheduling, including metros, trams, stadiums, hospitals and airports.

Supporting the IEEE1588v2 protocol, this product adopts the PTP mechanism to realize time synchronization between primary and secondary master clocks in rail transit scenarios, greatly improving the overall precision of the clock system. It is equipped with a passive bus backplane and multi-redundancy design with hot-swap support. It accepts multiple signal inputs such as RS422, PPS+TOD, NTP and optional PTP. Featuring a proprietary FPGA timekeeping algorithm, as well as local maintenance software and network management platform access, the system ensures a high-accuracy time service system for Nanjing Dongshan Primary School.
