Saisi × Nanning-Pingxiang High-Speed Railway｜Nanchong Section Officially Opens, Saisi Empowers Precision Timing System

Recently, the Nanning-Chongzuo section of the Nanning-Pingxiang High-Speed Railway has been officially put into operation. Saisi provided high-precision clock systems for all 5 stations on the Nanchong section, ensuring stable operation of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Located in southwestern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Nanning-Pingxiang High-Speed Railway connects Nanning, the regional capital, with Pingxiang, a border port city between China and Vietnam. With a total length of 201 km, it is the first high-speed railway fully invested and constructed by Guangxi. The project is divided into two phases: Nanning-Chongzuo and Chongzuo-Pingxiang, with the latter currently under construction.

The newly opened Nanning-Chongzuo section stretches 121 km, started construction in December 2018, with a designed speed of 250 km/h. It serves 5 stations: Nanning, Wuwei Airport, Fusui South, Qujiu South and Chongzuo South. The opening of this section further optimizes Guangxi’s railway network, greatly improves travel convenience for residents along the line, boosts economic development in ethnic regions, accelerates infrastructure construction of the Belt and Road and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and better serves the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area.

Saisi supplied Beidou-based master-slave clock systems for all stations on the Nanchong section, providing accurate and reliable time signals for platforms, control rooms, waiting halls, ticket offices, duty rooms and other key scenarios, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the entire railway operation system.

Rail transit connectivity serves as fundamental support for the Belt and Road Initiative. As a critical part of the transportation network, the clock system synchronizes all subsystems and provides precise time-frequency signals, forming the foundation for normal communication system operation.
