Recently, the Wuyi New District tourist sightseeing rail transit line from Wuyishan East Railway Station to Wuyishan Scenic Area has officially opened for operation. It is a tram system with exclusive right-of-way and elevated track layout. Saisi has provided high-precision clock servers for the project, supporting the accurate and stable operation of the line.
The first phase of the Wuyi New District Tram project has a total length of 26.185 kilometers, a designed speed of 70 kilometers per hour, with a one-way trip of about 35 minutes and 10 stations along the route. Positioned as a "tourist sightseeing line", the opening of the Wuyi Tram will not only ease regional traffic pressure in Wuyishan City and Wuyi New District, but also attract surrounding passengers, boost the development of the new district, enhance the brand influence of Wuyishan, and promote the upgrading and transformation of the tourism industry.
Different from traditional trams, modern trams are light rail transit vehicles powered by electricity and running on rails, belonging to a type of light rail. In recent years, problems such as environmental pollution and traffic congestion have become increasingly prominent in automobile-dominated transportation systems. Thanks to their reliable, comfortable, energy-saving and eco-friendly features, trams have gradually become an important part of public transport. Most modern tram lines run in open air and complex urban environments, where communication signals are susceptible to interference. This demands higher time synchronization accuracy and more stable signals for the line system.
The high-precision clock server TS8000 independently developed by Saisi pioneers the use of PTP for time synchronization between primary and secondary master clocks, improving the overall accuracy of the clock system. It maintains excellent stability even in harsh environments and is widely applied in the tram industry.
