On June 24,2025, the first two trains of Bogota Line 1, the largest single transportation infrastructure PPP project in Latin America to date and the first subway line in Colombia's capital, were officially rolled off the production line and delivered in Changchun, China, sparking enthusiastic responses in Colombia.
Bogota Mayor Galan attended the delivery ceremony online, praising it as a "milestone event" in realizing the city's 80-year "subway dream".
